Even the reddest of the red southern states face the problem of legislators only paying lip service to the pro-life cause when they are campaigning, then refusing to act on it while in office. We watched it happen in Iowa last year; however, some stalwart pro-life legislators have been working to change that by adding “an amendment to an amendment” to the Health and Human Services budget bill.
