I think Ron Paul actually has more to gain and lose at the Straw Poll than even Pawlenty. The Straw Poll favors strong grass roots support (which Dr. Paul has), so if he can’t win in a venue like the Straw Poll, I can’t imagine him doing very well in either the caucuses or in the race for the nomination generally.
