    Agreed
This almost gave me chills…not to be confused with a certain pundit’s reaction to Obama

I agree, I want him to be Treasury Secretary. It would be better than him being president even.

Two words sum up Dr. Paul for me 1)Consistent 2)Leader

  • Gregg Jackson

If only Paul understood that our rights come from God and not from man, I would support the guy. But Paul is pro-choice for states on abortion and supports gay marriage. When will conservatives and Christians understand that our economic problems are merely symptomatic of a far greater moral/spiritual problem?

You might want to read what he writes instead of what Romney supporters write..

Here is Paul’s pro-abortion, pro-homosexual record http://greggjackson.com/blog/?p=562. I as a Christian could never support Ron Paul. He can be right on taxes, the fed and the deficit all day long, but if we ignore his godless, Ayn Randian materialistic anti-biblical worldview, all we will get is godless “conservatism” verse godless liberalism.

Again, we as Christians will continue to chase our tails if we fail to ignire that our economic problems are merely symptomatic of a far more serious moral/spiritual issue.

Brilliant.  But only HALF the story and HALF the message…  And the other half has already defined him out of contention.

I wouldn’t call Dr. Paul pro-choice; he is an OB afterall and has delivered thousands of babies.  He believes that most of these social issues belong with the States – - probably because he knows so many of those issues are so divisive.  With the economy in the tank he also realizes that anyone who tries to champion less rights and more government intrusion into people’s private lives over economic issues will hand the Presidency right back to #44.  And no one else in the GOP field can hold a candle to Dr. Paul when it comes to talking about the economy and cutting government.

That ad is a thousand times better than the terrible, amateurship ads the Paul campaign ran four years ago.  I think if Dr. Paul can win the Straw Poll, he might have a chance to do pretty well both in Iowa and in the rest of the country.
