Newt Gingrich Responds to Rick Perry’s Endorsement

Gingrich Statement on Governor Perry Endorsement

Beaufort, SC – Newt Gingrich released the following statement responding to Governor Rick Perry’s suspension of his campaign and endorsement of Gingrich and withdrawal from the race.

“I am humbled and honored to have the support of my friend Rick Perry. His selflessness is yet another demonstration of his deep sense of citizenship and commitment to the cause of limited government, historic American values and greater freedom for every American.

Governor Perry will continue to be a leader for the cause of conservatism, especially for more American energy and for implementing the 10th Amendment across the country.

South Carolinians have a chance this Saturday to nominate a bold Reagan conservative who will offer a dramatic contrast with President Obama this fall in the general election.

I ask the supporters of Governor Perry to look at my record of balancing the budget, cutting spending, reforming welfare, and enacting pro-growth policies to create millions of new jobs and humbly ask for their vote.”

How nice – A Bilderberger attendee who used execuative order to force pre-teen girls to get innoculated against sexual transmitted diseases endorsed a NWO CFR Liberal Neo-con -

    How Nice!

I love to correct Paul followers. There was not one girl who was “innoculated” from an executive order. Get it right or go to another subject where you can get your facts right.

      • James

Did he not use an executive order for inoculations? That is like saying
I used an executive order to force you to eat only vegetables but because
You ignored the order that makes it ok? Makes me a swell guy right!

        • Anonymous

Just go find the facts, I am sure as a Paul follower you want to get the facts right.

          • James

I have the facts – Did Rick Perry issue an executive order for the HPV Vaccine? Yes or No…I know the answer.

James says “who used execuative order to force pre-teen girls to get innoculated”. Now you are changing it to say “issue”. That is different.  I think we have wasted enough time on this topic.

          • James

Semantics. You are not being honest. Next you will write ‘It
depends on what the meaning of the words ‘is’ is.’
I am sure many parents had given children inoculations because they were afraid not too because of the executive order who otherwise would not have.
But that is not the issue whether a parent followed an executive order, the issue is the executive order given by someone who claims to be a CONSERVATIVE.
BTW – You responded more than twice.

          • Anonymous

Ok I broke my promise to myself and I will rebouble my efforts next time, I promise.. again. The legislature overturned his exc order and not one child was given a shot, you made it sound like he gave the order and girls were given the shots – that is a lie. That did not happen. I am right. And I am done. promise.

          • James

So you have no issue with the executive order?
What was the intent of the executive order?

      • James

A true tea party conservative did run against Perry – Medina who received close to 20% of the vote without any support or money. Of course the status quo endorsed Perry. It’s all WWF. We are  just pawns. Gingrich and Santorum are the status quo. They support big government. The Rhetoric compared to their actual record is completely at odds.

None of these candidates can beat Obama because the debate is diminished by the fact they both for all practical purposes embrace the same policies albeit at different extremes but the same policy nonetheless.
