Hillary Clinton Running for POTUS in 2016 After All

After agreeing to be thrown under the bus for the Benghazi/Libya fiasco, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton appears to be re-thinking things. With Obama’s odds of being re-elected diminishing from probable to questionable this month, the Clintonistas have apparently decided not to go down with the sinking ship just in case by way of a devastating new story that hit the mainstream media Tuesday night. Despite its claims to the contrary that went on for days after the uprising, official emails verify the White House was told within two hours of the September 11th attack in Benghazi that an Islamic terrorist group was claiming responsibility for it. In other words, to paraphrase the Democrats from the 2004 campaign, Obama lied and people died. So where did these official government emails come from, and how did they end up in the hands of a mainstream media many view as hesitant to take on Obama? My opinion: With Obama’s fortunes in peril, Hillary has decided falling on her sword and going quietly into the night is just not her style. See you in 2016 after all.

A Lefty Defends Sanctity of Life

No, really. I know, I couldn’t believe it myself until I actually read the article with my own eyes. It’s in the Huffington Post of all places, too. Any article that includes the line “being pro-life doesn’t make me any less of a lefty” deserves to be read.

Obama’s Strategy Shift

Politico has a story today about a shift in strategy after Mitt Romney’s surge following his dominating win in the first debate. It’s definitely worth a read, otherwise I wouldn’t have linked it here today, but I could also sum it up in one sentence: “Snap, now we’re actually going to have to make the case that we deserve a second term after the failure of the first one.”
