WND Answers its Critics
Since Al Gore invented the Internet, World Net Daily has been one of the leading online conservative news sites (full disclosure: I have written several columns for WND, and they are currently selling my new book We Won’t Get Fooled Again in their online book store). But WND has been labeled persona non grata by several in the conservative movement for pursuing the so-called “birther” story. WND publisher Joseph Farah is responding to his detractors by citing his top 10 reasons why he believes conservatives don’t want to pursue the story.
Personhood USA Corrects the Romney Record
Our friends over at Personhood USA have responded to a recent NARAL attack on Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney by correcting the record to accurately reflect Romney’s “spotty” pro-life resume. In this accurate and worthwhile look at Romney’s actual record on life issues, Personhood USA asks the question if Mitt Romney was as pro-life as NARAL claims, then how come he was the only major Republican presidential candidate that didn’t sign their Personhood pledge? “If what Planned Parenthood and NARAL are saying is true, it should be an easy decision to sign a pledge to stand with President Reagan in defending ‘the unalienable personhood of every American, from the moment of conception until natural death.’ The time has come to make his views known, and it is our hope that he will align himself and his campaign with those committed to justice for all.”
