Conservative Leaders Want Huckabee for VP
This article quotes several evangelical leaders I respect like Donald Wildmon, David Lane, and Mat Staver — who are guys that actually try to fight the establishment in primaries. All of them are calling for Mitt Romney to name his former presidential rival, Mike Huckabee, as his running mate. However, what isn’t mentioned in the article is whether or not Huckabee’s new mega radio deal with Cumulus to take on Rush Limbaugh would allow him to depart so soon after launching in mid-April.
Tea Party Reasserts Itself
Some pundits have pronounced the death of the Tea Party with Mitt Romney’s likely nomination looming. However, with Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann’s campaigns flaming out, the Tea Party was left without an obvious champion to coalesce behind in the presidential race. As a result, the Tea Party has been focusing its efforts on state races to make more of an impact, and it’s impact was felt this week.

This article seeks to answer those questions.
