Creator Says The Dark Knight Rises is not Anti-Romney
Rush Limbaugh has made some headlines recently for asserting the summer blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises is featuring a villain named “Bane” in order to paint Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, and his past at Bain Capital, as the bad guy to legions of moviegoers across the country. One problem with that. It turns out the creators of the character are “lifelong conservatives.”
A Look at Potential Romney Running Mates
With former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty (tragically) now the favorite on InTrade to be Romney’s running mate, the Minneapolis Star-Tribune takes a look at how he stacks up with other names prominently mentioned as potential vice presidential picks.
Passive-Aggressive is no Way to Go Through Life, Son
So does Romney surrogate John Sununu believe President Obama’s ideas are un-American or not? Sununu caused all the right people to get their panties in a bunch by simply saying what many Americans — including most Republican voters — believe, that President Obama’s statist ideas and worldview are contrary to the vision for this country laid out by our Founding Fathers. That caused the passive-aggressive Romney campaign to swing into action, lest it risk offending the people destroying the country. It started with sending its milquetoast political hack of the moment Pawlenty out to “clarify” Sununu’s remarks. Then Sununu was sent out to apologize, except I’m not sure if he apologized, or if he really believed what he said the first time. Decide for yourself by clicking here. Just when you think the Romney campaign wants to win, something like this happens.
