The Main Street Media, helped along by their favorite Republican John McCain, have made hay of Michele Bachmann, Trent Franks and Louie Gohmert’s questioning of Muslim Brotherhood infiltration of the U.S. government.

Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano response on Wednesday, July 18th, to Congressman Louie Gohmert’s questioning is a must listen.

Any idiot should recognize that Egypt’s newly elected President Mohamed Morsi wasn’t joking in his comment in May at Cairo University, “The Koran is our constitution, the Prophet is our leader, jihad is our path and death in the name of Allah is our goal.”

Germany in the 1930′s gives direction, “The Nazis were forced to tolerate religion in Germany, but as Martin Bormann exclaimed: ‘National Socialism and Christianity are irreconcilable.’ Hitler supported this view, stating: ‘One day we want to be in a position where only complete idiots stand in the pulpit and preach to old women.’…As part of this attack, the Nazis also changed the calendar to downplay Christian celebrations and emphasize non-Christian ceremonies. …and the ramifications? “An estimated two million German women were raped by the soldiers of the Red Army in 1945.” ibid. pg. 169

Germany (like Christian America) had lost its Christian heritage, then its culture. 400 years earlier Martin Luther had translated the Bible from the Greek and Hebrew to German. (New Testament in 1522, complete Bible in 1534)

Eric Metaxas framed well the power of the Word in his bestseller, Bonhoeffer: Pastor, Martyr,  Prophet, Spy, “German culture was inescapably Christian. This was a result of the legacy of Martin Luther, the Catholic monk who invented Protestantism. Looming over the German culture and nation like both a father and a mother, Luther was to Germany something like what a Moses was to Israel; in his lusty, cranky person were the German nation and Lutheran faith wonderfully and terribly combined. Luther’s influence cannot be overestimated. His translation of the Bible into German was cataclysmic.”

…thus the demise of Germany, the land of the Protestant Reformation.

America has walked away from Jehovah. What are the false gods of America?

Multiculturalism- Preservation of different cultures or cultural identities within a unified society, as a state or nation. It’s been described as a “salad bowl” or “cultural mosaic” rather than a “melting pot.”

Political Correctness- Organized Orwellian intolerance, disguised as compassionate liberalism. Political correctness is well known as an institutional excuse for the harassment and exclusion of people with differing political views.

Secularism- 1) the social or political process of rejecting all forms of religious faith. 2) the elimination of any religious elements with-in public education and other civic institutions.

…as we’ve left God, these 3 Marxist ideologies have filled the vacuum. “America today is in the throes of the greatest and direst transformation in its history. We are becoming an ideological state, a country with an official state ideology enforced by the power of the state. In “hate crimes” we now have people serving jail sentences for political thoughts.

And the Congress is now moving to expand that category ever further. Affirmative action is part  of it. The terror against anyone who dissents from Political Correctness on campus is part of it. It’s exactly what we have seen happen in Russia, in Germany, in Italy, in China, and now it’s coming here. And we don’t recognize it because we call it Political Correctness and laugh it off. My message today is that it’s not funny, it’s here, it’s growing and it will eventually destroy, as it seeks to destroy, everything that we have ever defined as our freedom and our culture.” Bill Lind, February 2000

Bill Lind offered additional insight in 2007, “Georg Lukacs in 1918 became deputy commissar for culture in the short-lived Bela Kun Bolshevik regime in Hungary. There, asking, “Who will save us from Western civilization?” he instituted what he called “cultural terrorism.” One of its main components was introducing sex education into Hungarian schools. Lukacs realized that if he could destroy the country’s traditional sexual morals, he would have taken a giant step toward destroying its traditional culture and Christian faith…

Today, when Hollywood’s cultural Marxists want to “normalize” something like homosexuality (thus “liberating” us from “repression”), they put on television show after television show where the only normal-seeming white male is a homosexual. The Word gives direction on restoring America to our Judeo Christian heritage and reestablishing America’s Christian culture, “And Samuel spoke to all the house of Israel, saying, If you do return to the LORD with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts to the LORD, and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.” 1 Samuel 7:3

“If you do return” is conditioned on Israel returning to the Lord “with all your hearts”. What does that look like in America?

First, we must remove the false gods, “put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth”.

Second, we must, “prepare your hearts to the LORD.”

Third, we must, “serve him only.”

Keith Krell’s teaching of 1 Samuel, “The Long Way Home”, gives insight:

“Genuine repentance doesn’t stop with tears and weeping but moves to concrete actions. When these three evidences of repentance are fulfilled, Israel will be restored to fellowship with the Lord, and she will experience deliverance from the Philistines (7:4). This is a promise, God longs to do the same for you today as well; God specializes in restoration. God grants us intimate fellowship with Him when we are walking in the light as He is in the light (1 John 1:7). He loves to work on our behalf when we are wholly devoted to Him.”

Texas Governor Rick Perry’s The Response: A Call to Prayer for a Nation in Crisis at Reliant Stadium in Houston last August was the beginning.

…but we have lost sight of who we are in Him, “But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.” 1 Peter 2:9

…and we have forgotten His power, “The believer has, even now, a rich and wondrous portion in Christ; a portion which is available and accessible unto faith: “For all things are yours; whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are yours; and ye are Christ’s, and Christ is God’s” (1 Cor. 3:21-23). But O how little are we impressed by such glorious declarations as these; how little do we enter into them in a practical way; how little do we appropriate them.
