A Reflection of Values?

Reprinted from Christian Newswire

When Charlotte714, a non political group of Pastors and Christian leaders in Charlotte who are praying for God to restore our nation, requested permission to pass out gifts and Christian literature to arriving DNC delegates, they were refused. The reason: “…the values of Charlotte714 do not reflect the values of the DNC.”

Just what are the values of the DNC? On Friday, August 31 – September 2, 2012, we will see. The DNC will be opened in Jumah Prayer by Siraj Wahhaj as grand Imam and unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombings. Wahhaj served as a character witness for Omar Abdel Rahman (the blind sheikh) in the trial that found him guilty of conspiring to overthrow the United States government. So Islam is now the religion of choice for the DNC?

Of course, abortion on demand for any reason at any time, at taxpayer expense, is an absolute in the DNC. No room for deviance here. Now the DNC is going to redefine marriage. What does the God of the Bible know, anyway! After years of lying to us, the DNC has decided to show its true colors. It is indeed, the party of death! “…All who hate me love death.” Pr 8:36.

The DNC is tolerant of all religions except one — Christianity! Why? The DNC hates the God of the Bible. It hates the God of our Pilgrim Forefathers and Founding Fathers. It hates the God (Jesus) who made America great and made her strong. It simply hates any judge but itself.

GOP isn’t respectful of Christians with biblical theology and standards either.

    • Kami_sama_no_Otaku

Yes… isn’t that a regular point on the Steve Deace show?
Are you just adding that on because it is important (it is), or because you’re trying to somehow debate what is being said?
How does it neutralize the actions of the DNC? Mitigate the differences in party platform between the two? The reason Christian conservatives (besides those who haven’t been paying attention) favor the Republicans is because if they’d keep their word (and make their promises in American English and not Republicrat) they’d actually govern according to the platform, instead of selling us out to be the Democrat Lite party.
Party A’s leadership hates those of us who are Christian conservatives.
So does Party B. However the actions of one don’t cancel out the acitons of the other; we need to know that both are untrustworthy so we don’t become their slappies… in some cases, don’t become their slappies again.

I’m not trying to defend the evil of either major political parties. The fact of the matter is that both parties are godless.

“The DNC hates God.” Is there no shallow, broad-brush demagoguery you will not repeat? Or to repeat someone else “Have you no shame?”

    • Kami_sama_no_Otaku

” The DNC hates the God of the Bible.”
So you managed to misquote something right in front off your face, huh? Never mind failing to actually rebut the point. The DNC can stand for Democratic National Convetion or Democratic National Committee, but either way its a small stroke since it is a small group, not the rank and file of the party.
If it wasn’t for a recent attempt by someone at race baiting while discussing the game’s rules, you’d actually be arguing less coherently than posters on the Pokemon TCG message board I frequent.

      • MikelMann

Misquote? Oh, let me add a couple words “The DNC hates the God of the Bible.” All apologies for my egregious error of quoting “The DNC hates God.”
But you’re drinking the Kool-Aid, Kami, so I’m not trying to reach you. I’m trying to reach anyone who thinks it does not reflect well upon Christiainity when people speak like this.
Please don’t tempt me by saying things like ” the Pokemon TCG message board I frequent”

        • Kami_sama_no_Otaku

A misquote is a misquote; at best it makes you look incompetent. or sloppy. Much how the exact nature of how I called you out on it makes me look rather rude in hindsight. You are free to edit your post, I won’t claim it is deception. I will leave mine since I am already addressing it here, and I may hurt myself more if I leave the exact level of my rudeness to the imagination. I am fortunate you appear as hot headed as myself; had you responded kindly you would have indeed heaped “burning coals” upon my head.
Still, the DNC loves God… but it is what they make their God that they love. They make the state the God of their lives. That is why the “…of the Bible.” portion is significant.

You still have yet to refute the points; you accuse me of “drinking the Kool Aid”… no much of an argument is it? Since I chose such a funny screen name, consider addressin me as “otaku”: it is often a word used as an insult, but I find it describes me well. I am not arrogant enough to call myself kami, though I am sure that many times I act the part.
Anyway, I find what reflects worst upon Christianity are people who would rather ignore a problem than address and do what is within their power to solve it. It is not “loving” to ignore reality, it is usually enabling of bad behaviors. The DNC really do not care for the God of the Bible. They hate him, and they show it by their actions and policies. They will at best pay lipservice to him if they think it can help them politicaly.
You know, like the Republican party. The difference is that the Christians in the Democratic Party appear to be more cowed than those of us in the Republican Party, and either way it has to stop. Either we must recognize the evil in our midst and be rid of it; exorcising it if we can (…seriously I tried to find a word with less religious connotation, but it really did fit the best), or separting ourselves from it if we can’t.

          • MikelMann

You could say something like that in everything you write. “The DNC hates God,” “The RNC hates God,” “Chicago hates God,” “Mitt Romney hates God,” “Nancy Pelosi hates God,” etc. I don’t know what the point of that would be. But here’s the thing: someone who talks like that is marginalized anyway, and for good reason.
It is enough to talk about what is wrong with certain policies and practices.
