Morning Briefing: May 24th, 2012
By Steve Deace
Today’s morning briefing is going to be a little different.
My appearance last night on The Ed Show on MSNBC was a blast. Up against Ed and two liberals on a political panel, I got the chance to find out how it felt to be the heel in a pro-wrestling event. And believe me, I relished it every bit as much as the great Bobby “The Brain” Heenan would have. Heck, in hindsight I wished I would have walked the aisle like Rick Flair, given the nationally-televised audience a big “whooh,” and then flashed the old Four Horsemen Nature Boy gang sign from back in the day.
But as fun as it is to actually spar on TV, it still doesn’t beat the priceless entertainment that is the over 50 tweets I received from the haters in response to last night’s appearance. For today’s morning briefing, I’m going to share some of that joy will all of you by posting some of the best as well how I replied.
