You know, I was really going to attack Dr Michael Brown before listening to him, and while I like his thinking, hell I am still going to attack him.

Voting for Mitt Romney is wrong. Forget the spiritual reasons why (and they are insurmountable)  but the message such a vote will send is unacceptable.

You are sending the message to the Republicans that they can put up someone of the disastrous record of Mitt Romney and heck we will in the end vote for him.

They know THEY HAVE US. They don’t need to cater to us. Heck if we would vote for Mitt Romney we will vote for anyone they put up.

But then again, that’s the truth, isn’t it.  We will!

We will put the Republican Party before the Republican Party!

Sorry, Michael Brown right in thinking – wrong in action – and will lead to bad results!

    • Jacob Benson

I meant we would put the Republican Party before our principles.

Sorry, I am just so angry today I can’t even think straight.  The Republicans did it AGAIN to us today. I am getting World Wrestling Federation vibes here.  It’s all for show with them isn’t it. The Republicans are CO-CONSPIRATORS!

Obama should send George Bush a Thank You card.  He couldn’t have done it without him.

But no, we are all supposed to get mad at the “Villain” right even though the “Vilian and the “Hero” choreographed the whole display together and are probably even right now in some DC bar together, best of pals  LAUGHING AT US RUBES IN FLYOVER COUNTRY!

If you think I am going to vote for another eight years of Bush (yeah it will be Romney but if anything it will be WORSE than what we suffered under Bush) they have another thing coming! We can’t afford to wait until 2024 (which will of course be more like 2020 because even if Romney wins this year I doubt he will be re-elected.

  • Brian Nation

You said it yourself, if Romney wins, Republicans will lose the House and Senate in 2014 and the White House in 2016.

    THAT”S THE GREATER EVIL.

And the person that would replace Romney, well, that person would just put in all the stuff Obama would have in his second term, and we won’t have a House or Senate to slow that person down.

If our country is even to have a chance, we must VOTE OBAMA. Yes,  it’s distasteful, yes, it is terrifying, but that’s where it is at.

Also, we must, we absolutely must send the Republicans a message – WE WILL NOT BE TAKEN FOR GRANTED.  The Republicans are our FIRST ENEMY. We can’t even get to a point where we can defeat Democrats because the Republicans are in the way.

A Romney victory WILL KILL THE TEA PARTY. It is clear that Romney will use his position as leader of the Republican Party to PURGE Tea Party influence from the party.

Sorry, with so much at stake it isn’t good enough Steve for you to be “not for Romney” or “not voting for Romney but”. We must Oppose Romney.  It is a strange world we live in where Obama is the lesser of two evils but it is the world we live in. A Romney victory will DESTROY AMERICA. whereas perhaps a Obama victory will like you, yourself say bring a great defeat to the Democrats in the near future.

    Steve,

Good show–Liked hearing from Mr. Brown in hour two–quite thought provoking.

But after thinking about it some more, I remain unconvinced.  I simply cannot picture myself voting for Romney this fall.  Just can’t.

This raises the question–who is left to vote for?  I’m not going to NOT vote.  I’m going to vote for someone.  Do I vote for Gary Johnson?  He’s more pro-abortion than anyone.

    Just who is left?

    Pete
