I keep reading the second amendment to find where it says that anyone can have any gun at any time and take it anywhere.

Face it – the second amendment is worded about as vaguely as any amendment can be. The intent of the amendment is to keep government from prohibiting citizens from bearing arms, and it does a good job doing that, particularly in recent events/rulings that have opened up gun ownership to cities such as NY and Chicago, which previously had unconstitutional bans in place.

Requiring training and background checks doesn’t do anything to prohibit law-abiding citizens from having guns. Rather, it ensures that gun owners have the proper skills to act responsibly, which will only serve to promote gun rights and gun ownership in the future.

The 14th Amendment already guarantees no innocent person be denied equal protection of the laws and due process. All that is required to stop child murder is for governors of each state to enforce the inalinable right to life for all innocent persons from conception which science has proven human life begins to natural death. We dont need to wait for any court on this one since courts don’t make law and no governor or president needs authorization from any court at any level to stop child murder.

I keep reading the 2nd amendment trying to find where it says you have to be trained, certified and identified. Maybe instead of just ignoring the constitution if we don’t like what it says we should pass an amendment and change it, until then OBEY it!

In hour 3, Julie said she’s going to send her little girl to public school kindergarten. I don’t know her situation, but I find it interesting that she (correctly) rails against the government scrutinizing what’s going into a child’s stomach, yet she’s going to allow the government to put whatever they want into her little girl’s mind.
